The scale and ambition of this project underscore Surat’s commitment to revolutionizing the diamond trade and establishing itself as a pivotal player in the international market.
Features of Surat Diamond Bourse –
The Surat Diamond Bourse will be the world’s largest and modern centre for international diamond and jewellery business.
With more than 4,500 interconnected offices, the Surat Diamond Bourse’s office building surpasses even the Pentagon in size, establishing itself as the largest customs clearance house in the country.
Constructed on 35.54 acres of land at an investment of Rs 3400 crore, the Surat Diamond Bourse is poised to emerge as a worldwide hub for the trading of both uncut and refined diamonds.
One of the standout features of the Surat Diamond Bourse is its state-of-the-art ‘Customs Clearance House,’ ensuring seamless import and export processes.
This facility is designed to streamline transactions, making it an efficient and reliable center for global diamond and jewelry trade.
Situated near Surat city in Khajod village, the Surat Diamond Bourse building stands as the largest office complex globally, boasting an expansive floor area exceeding 67 lakh square feet.
It is poised to serve as a worldwide hub for the exchange of both uncut and refined diamonds, along with jewelry.
The facility will include an advanced ‘Customs Clearance House’ for seamless import and export processes, a jewelry mall catering to retail jewelry business, and amenities such as international banking services and secure vaults.
