NCMC card
The NCMC functions as an open-loop card, allowing users to make payments for metro travel charges, toll taxes, parking fees, and retail transactions, as per official statements. On the other hand, the SV-2 card operates as a closed-loop card specifically designed for use within the DMRC system.
The facility was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March 2019 in order to help people make payments for multiple kinds of transport charges through a common card.
PM Modi launched the NCMC services on the Airport Express on December 28, 2020.
