While Kolkata Knight Riders broke the bank for Starc and bought him for Rs 24.75 crore, another Aussie player Pat Cummins was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 20.50 crore. Pat Cummins: Another bidding war for another Australian star player. While many Indian fans still remember him for the World Cup heartbreak, the skipper of Australia’s ODI team was the most sought-after player at IPL Auction. Sunrisers Hyderabad went all the way to get him on board. Cummins was sold for Rs 20.54 crore and will be wearing the orange jersey in this edition of the Indian Premier League.
Daryl Mitchell: While two Australians took the top spots, on number 3 in IPL Auction 2024 was this all-rounder from New Zealand. Son of a rugby player, Mitchell was sold to Chennai Super Kings for Rs 14 crore.
Chris Morris: The fourth player on our list is this South African player. Morris was bought by Rajasthan Royals for whopping Rs 16.25 crore for 2022 IPL edition.
Nicholas Pooran: In the IPL year 2021, Lucknow Super Giants bought this Trinidadian cricketer for record Rs 16 crore.
