Spanning 36 routes nationwide, the Vande Bharat Express serves diverse travel demands during festive seasons and winters.

Vande Bharat trains in Maharashtra
Five Vande Bharat trains have been initiated in Maharashtra, marking a transformative era in the state’s railway landscape. The inaugural Vande Bharat Express on the Western Railway commenced operations on September 15, 2022, linking Mumbai Central to Gandhinagar Capital.
Following suit, the second Vande Bharat Express in Maharashtra, running on the South East Central Railway (SECR), began its journey on December 11, 2022, connecting Nagpur Junction to Bilaspur Junction.
February 10, 2023, marked a dual milestone with the introduction of the third and fourth Vande Bharat Express trains. They effortlessly linked Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai to Solapur and Sainagar Shirdi, respectively, via the Central Railway.
The fifth Vande Bharat train embarked on its inaugural expedition on June 3, 2023, further solidifying Maharashtra’s commitment to futuristic and high-speed rail travel.
